Driven by a lifelong passion for holistic health, Kelvin Pizarro has dedicated his career to understanding the body’s innate ability to heal through natural medicine, movement, and therapeutic care. His journey began through years of independent study in herbal medicine and exercise science, later becoming a Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and Licensed Massage Therapist.
After spending more than three years studying herbs and natural medicine on his own, Kelvin sought to deepen his knowledge through formal mentorship with Dr. A. D. Israel, a Doctor of Oriental Medicine. Under Dr. Israel’s guidance for more than three years, he immersed himself in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), herbal energetics, while receiving hands-on training in Tui-Na, meridian therapy, acupressure, and holistic treatment philosophies. This mentorship transformed his understanding of natural medicine and became the foundation upon which he built Chi Sun Holistic Healing, the parent company of Chi Tree Botanicals.
During this time, Dr. Israel bestowed upon Kelvin the name “Chi Sun,” a name that reflects the life-giving energy of Qi and the warmth, vitality, and healing light of the sun. The name became the inspiration behind Chi Sun Holistic Healing and the philosophy that continues to guide his work today.
Today, as a Master Herbalist, Kelvin formulates handcrafted herbal blends through Chi Tree Botanicals by combining traditional wisdom with modern understanding. Every formula is thoughtfully designed to support the body’s natural ability to restore balance, promote vitality, and address wellness concerns through carefully selected, high-quality botanicals.
